Make Your OWn Pinata
In this workshop, families will learn to craft their very own miñata™ with #torontosveryown piñatera Michelle Laratta of Big Ass Piñata.
This includes everything from creating a shape, choosing colors and planning a design to cutting, fixing, gluing and smooshing fun decorations that make their piece come alive.
Children will also fill their miñata™ secret sweet doors with a tiny treat for later! No breaking here!
This activity is fun and safe for the whole family!

Michelle Laratta
After building a 36 inch wrecking ball piñata for her son's 2nd birthday, Michelle realised that if she couldn't find what she wanted in stores, then noone could, and opened Big Ass Piñata the next day. 6 years later the company has grown to become the go to for magazine features, weddings, marketing and PR events and anyone who needs something really big to break. Michelle has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry and some of the tiniest crafters, offering diy workshops to children 4 and up. No job is too big or too small whether it be 6 feet tall or one of her 6 inch trademarked miñatas. "It's not a party till you break something" and Michelle's always happy to help.
Charity
As our way of saying Thank You to our community, we’ll be partnering with a HollandBloorview, Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital, dedicated to being at the forefront of clinical care, research and education. Proceeds from your ticket will go toward this incredible center.
