Action Potential Lab is Toronto’s first laboratory dedicated to cross disciplinary education in the science and the arts. We believe that problem solving techniques, comprehension and creativity are most enhanced by using both sides of the brain. 

We are so excited to present an  ALL NEW semester of ALL NEW experiments and projects! Whether your child is a returning student or brand new to Action Potential Lab's program, they are in for an unforgettable science and art infused experience.

Science and art connect in ways you didn’t dream possible.

From microbiology and DNA extractions to colour theory and Cézanne’s Still Life paintings, every week we learn a new branch of science fused with a new style of art and take home a creative project based on the day’s topic. This program is student-inquiry based, so each class curricular is co-created by it’s own students. Past projects include: learning about mummification and preservation by creating your own sarcophagus and mummy out of a hot dog. Extracting DNA out of a strawberry and making it into a necklace. Discovering how a petri dish can transform into an artist’s canvas.

How to Register

  1. Register and pay for your child's spot by clicking on the "Add to Cart" button.

  2. You will receive a payment confirmation through email. 

  3. Look out for an email from us a week before the first class with important additional information. In the meantime, feel free to shoot us a message if you have any questions or concerns. 

Da Vinci Club Thursdays

Policy

  • Students must be registered 7 days prior to the commencement of the first class.

  • The Order Summary that will be emailed to you after the registration process has been completed is your proof of payment and secures your child’s place in our class.

  • By registering your child/ children in the program indicated on your Order Summary, you are giving permission for your child/ children to take part in class activities created for said program and taught by authorized agents of Action Potential Ltd.

  • Refunds will not be issued up to 14 days prior to the first class.

  • There are no makeups or refunds for missed classes.

  • Refunds will not be issued in the following cases: government closures, school closures, and environmental factors.

  • Action Potential Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the class, should the class size fall below eight students.
