DRUM UP SOME DNA

Calling all future geneticists! Ever wonder what DNA actually looks like? Now here’s your chance!

We’ll start off by going over the basic biology of DNA and why it’s so important. Your guests will then get to extract, see and touch strawberry DNA! Party guests will be led through the step-by-step process of DNA extraction that will produce a test tube full of strawberry DNA. Lastly, your guests will get the chance to take home their science experiment in a small vial to show family and friends! How cool is that?!

BOTTLE ROCKETS (Available from May to September)

Ground Control to Rocketeers! Ready for takeoff?

Spend your birthday building Bottle Rockets with your party guests. We'll provide all of the materials necessary from drafting a prototype to the final launch of your very own homemade rocket. This party is designed for each of your guests to build their own rockets in the lab and then shoot them off in the park across the street. All of your guests will go home with their very own rocket prototypes that they will be able to set up and launch over and over again at home.

SLIME: THE SCIENCE OF POLYMERS

This party is perfect for your slime connoisseur!

Did you know that slime is actually science, more specifically chemistry? Your guests will start off by learning about polymers, molecules, and states of matter. They will then get the chance to make not one, but two different types of colourful slime! Each party guest will get the chance to take home their slimy experiments to show off to friends and family!

DRAWING ROBOTS

Has your child ever told you that they would like to build a robot? If you answered yes, then this is the birthday party for them!

During this party, each guest will get to build their own robotic drawing machine using electronic components including a mini motor, a battery pack, and a switch. Once the electrical setup is complete, it’s time to decorate their robot using a variety of craft and upcycled materials. The result will be a hilariously absurd drawing robot that each child can take home. Beware, this party results in an endless source of fun!
