Taxidermy 101: Parakeets
Learn how to taxidermy a bird like a professional! This workshop will teach you the best ways to work with this winged wonders. You can choose to pose your birds wings out, wings in, natural or anthropomorphic style. You will be guided every step of the way and everyone will go home with their very own mounted parakeet*. This does require delicate hands, but if you are careful, you will certainly surprise yourself and friends with a fantastic end product.
The techniques you learn here will work on birds of any size and there will be plenty of time for Q&A for if you are interested in a particular species.
Delicious snacks, coffee and tea will be also be provided throughout the workshop.
*All parakeet specimens are ethically sourced for educational purposes and may vary in colour. No animals have been killed for the the sole purpose of this workshop.
