Tiffany is a freelance artist and educator. She loves creating and is an origami champ. We are so excited to have her join us for summer camp.
We got to sit down with Tiffany and ask our favourite 4 questions
What is your favourite thing about working with kids?
I love their enthusiasm for the different art/science projects that we develop for them. It is really great to see what they are able to create. I also love that their work is always able to inspire my own.
What do you love most about your work?
As a freelance artist, I love that I am able to challenge myself by tackling a variety of different creative projects, while being able trying out different art mediums at the same time. It is not always an easy road, but I love helping people to solve their creative conundrums.
What inspired you to get into your field?
I have always loved creating and/or tinkering (it is my zen place), so it feels really natural for me to be in a field that involves me doing that all day long.
Who is your favourite artist? Your favourite scientist?
This is always a really hard question for me to answer. Lately, I have been very interested in origami and how physicist, Dr. Robert Lang's work has been able to show the connections between traditional origami arts and STEM topics.
